We strongly believe in an equal split of practical and theory ‘learning pathways’ in our sessions with both younger and older students. Recording and ‘journaling’ is an amazing way to both absorb knowledge and in quieter moments to reflect on your ‘bushcraft journey’.

More photos from our fantastic Bushcraft Challenge Day. Our students work beyond themselves, they learn to improvise and understand what actually works . We teach both the theory and the practical . Working in groups , we appoint leaders and teach ‘leadership qualities’. Lead from the front , lead by example , facilitate and allow your team to shine . Again these experiences @lucyhot99 and I believe will ‘live with them’ forever and will ‘set them up’ for the challenges of adulthood.

Inspired by @bbcspringwatch @chrisgpackham2 @strachan.michaela and their fabulous footage we took a stroll near one of woodland sites and came across these beautiful creatures. Only metres from their sett they appeared very relaxed and ‘at home’ snuffling about . It was a case of literally stumbling across them . We were most careful to cause no harm and left the cubs to forage .
